Hi All,

I have been so wful about staying updated, but what can you do with a 16 month old rscaalling around???

In any event, a couple of exciting things. The Last Best Band and I raised over 10, 000 for the American Red Cross on New Year's Eve! We sold our two local CD's for 15.00 nd with donations, raised all that money!

Then came the trip to Choteau, Montana, for a series of clinics and concerts for the school kids. We wrote song about home and then the kids performed them in the concert. We recorded the concert and a CD entitled IN FRIENDSHIP, From our home to yours, will be available soon. All proceeds with go to the International Relief Fund through the American Red Cross.

Check Bck for details.

That's all for now....his highness beckons!

As always, thanks for checking back. My apologies for not updating more frequently. It's a baby thing.
The kid has a lot of needs. ( but we love it!)

There actually many things coming up.

The Last Best Band and I are doing a couple of concerts at the end of April/beginning of May in Billings and Bozeman. They should be alot of fun.

In May I will fly to Osaka for a Corporate event. It has been years since I have been and I look forward to sushi tasting like it is supposed to!

End of May it is off to Choteau, MT, the greatest place on earth! The Last Best Band and I are doing a fund raiser for the Soroptimists new hiking trail.

June looks to be busy. First I will fly to Brazil for gigs in Bahia and Salvador. I will be playing with Brazilian musicians and I am very excited to play bossa nova music the way it shoudl be done!

The Last Best Band and I have a private event on the 12th and then on the 13th we fly out to Adelaide, Australia for a five day run at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. This is a very cool festival that features many Broadway stars as well as the AfroCuban Allstars this year. Mike Wilner, aka Spike, will be joining us on the gig as Bob Nell, our regular pianist can't make it. Spike and I have been friends for a few years now and he is a lovely person and wonderful pianist. He has invited me to sit in a few times in NYC and Paris and it was the highlight of both trips.

So....keep checking in and I will post more frequently.

Thanks,

E

My apologies....I have not been updating my journal or schedule page for quite sometime....many reasons for this...

Reason/Excuse #1 We have a new baby!!! A beautiful boy that my husband and I adopted September 19th. We are very tired and very happy.

Reason/Excuse #2 I was doing a record with Tom Harrell, Bill Cunliffe, Darek Oles and Larance Marable. I am VERY excited about it and happy with it! It is a collection of ballads titled THIS IS ALWAYS, THE BALLAD SESSION. It will be available on all formats in February.

The session was amazing and Tom Harrell is a poet. Bill's arrangements were wonderfula nd everyone played so beautifully.

I will be endeavoring to post more frequently...but it is hard to type with one hand as this baby does not go for being put down.

Thanks,

Eden
