Hi Everyone,

I want to thank everyone that emailed with well wishes after last night’s Primetime episode. I am happy with the outcome and it feels great to have done it and received so much support and love.

I am hard at work on “The Last White Horse,” my memoir that chronicles my experiences with AIS as well as my music and performing career. It is such an interesting thing to put it all down on paper and read it…an exercise in perspective. I am hopeful that the book will be released by next summer. I will continue to update this journal with progress reports on the book, so please check back and thank you for your continued support.

In music news, I am debuting some tunes from my upcoming release “True North,” this Saturday in Missoula at DalyJazz. The new record is part of my ArtistShare project. ArtistShare will allow me the opportunity to share the creative process with my supporters and fellow music lovers which is something I have never done before but really look forward to. More details will be forthcoming very soon.  

It has been nearly five years since I put a record out…since I had my first child…so I am really excited to get back into the studio and record the new tunes. The music is, of course, jazz, but influenced by all the music I love; gospel, r&b, blues, etc.  This record will also include some original material alongside some great arrangements of lesser known standards.

I feel incredibly blessed to have the support I have and it gives me great energy to want to produce more.
